This policy explains what SonoTap ("we", "us") collects when you use sonotap.online (the "site"), and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.
The short version
- We don't ask you to register or sign in, and we don't sell your data.
- We use Google AdSense to show ads, and Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate. Both may set cookies.
- The games themselves are loaded from third-party servers; those providers have their own policies.
- You can opt out of cookies and targeted advertising using your browser settings or the links below.
Information we collect directly
We don't run accounts. When you contact us by email, we keep your message and email address for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the conversation.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard request data — IP address, the page requested, browser type, and a timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and uptime. These logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can:
- opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings,
- disable third-party cookies in your browser,
- or visit aboutads.info to opt out across participating networks.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us decide which games to improve. Analytics reports a pseudonymous client identifier and may set cookies. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to opt out.
Embedded games and third parties
Most games are embedded from the developer's own site, which means your browser connects to their servers when you press play. Those providers may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies — we don't control that. Each game's page names its developer.
Cookies
Cookies (where used) fall into a few categories: advertising, analytics, and any required for basic site function. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so won't stop you from playing the games.
Children's privacy
SonoTap is a general-audience games site and not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to processing. Email us and we'll do our best to help.

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the most recent version.
