The cue is purely auditory, growing louder and more insistent as you approach the cow, and dropping back to a flat murmur as you wander away. It is the kind of mechanic that needs no instructions because the audio itself is the instruction, and the round is short enough that the joke lands before it wears out. How to Play

Move your cursor slowly across the screen and listen. On a desktop, glide the mouse around the page; on a touch device, drag your finger across the surface. The audio cue is the only feedback: it grows louder and more urgent as you approach the cow, and quieter and flatter as you move away. Tips & Strategy

Sweep, do not hover. A steady glide across the full width of the screen tells you which half the cow is in far faster than small probing movements, and once the cue peaks you can narrow the search down to a smaller band and repeat. Cross the screen in passes, a horizontal sweep and then a vertical one, and the cow will sit near the intersection where the audio was loudest in each. Use headphones rather than speakers if you can, because the cue has stereo placement that makes the direction much clearer, where laptop speakers flatten everything into a single muddy channel. Set the volume high enough that you can hear the quieter end of the cue clearly, since the difference between warm and cold is where the information lives, not the absolute loudness at the peak.
