Solitaire
Classic Klondike Solitaire — build the four foundations from Ace to King.
Overview
Seven tableau columns fan across the felt, four foundation slots waiting above them for the aces that begin the climb to kings. This is Klondike in its most familiar browser form: a 52-card deck dealt into seven columns of increasing length, with the top card of each column turned face up and the rest stacked beneath it. One-card draw keeps the stock manageable, so each pass through the waste reveals a single new option rather than three. The rhythm is unhurried but never aimless — flip, move, build down in alternating colors, free a buried ace, and watch the foundations climb in matching suits. A timer and a move counter track the run, and a best-time record sits in local storage for the next attempt. When the path to victory opens up, an auto-complete button sweeps the remaining cards home. Build down in alternating colors across the tableau, and build up by suit in the foundations. Flip cards from the stock into the waste one at a time.
How to Play
Click the stock to flip the next card into the waste. Click a card to auto-move it when a legal destination exists, or click to select a card and then click the destination to place it deliberately. On touch devices, tap a card and then tap where it should go. Drag and drop is supported for moving sequences between columns. The auto-complete button appears once every remaining card is reachable, finishing the game in a single sweep. A timer and move counter run throughout, and your best time is saved locally.
Tips & Strategy
Free the aces early — nothing climbs the foundations without them, and buried aces block entire suits. Before drawing from the stock, exhaust every useful move already on the tableau; a draw you do not need is a draw wasted. Avoid emptying columns unless you have a king ready to fill the slot, because an empty column is only useful when it can hold a new sequence. Play cards up to the foundations sparingly at the start; sometimes a low card is more valuable in the tableau as a landing pad for an alternating-color build. When the stock is down to its last pass, count the cards you still need and confirm each is reachable before committing. Use undo freely in casual play to trace lines you would otherwise abandon.
