This policy explains what SonoTap ("we", "us") collects when you use sonotap.online (the "site"), and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

The short version

We don't ask you to register or sign in, and we don't sell your data.
Google AdSense may serve ads and use cookies or similar technologies, subject to your consent choices where required.
Cloudflare provides aggregate site analytics and security logging. We do not use Google Analytics.
Active game files are served from SonoTap; pressing Play does not embed or contact a third-party game host.
You can opt out of cookies and targeted advertising using your browser settings or the links below.

Information we collect directly

We don't run accounts. When you contact us by email, we keep your message and email address for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of the conversation.

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard request data — IP address, the page requested, browser type, and a timestamp — for security, abuse prevention, and uptime. These logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary.

When advertising is enabled, we use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can:

opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings,
disable third-party cookies in your browser,
or visit aboutads.info to opt out across participating networks.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referrers, countries, and device categories. Cloudflare describes this product as privacy focused and cookie-free. SonoTap does not send game input, progress, save data, or the contents of browser storage to analytics.

Locally hosted games

Every active game bundle is served from sonotap.online. The same-origin frame used to run a game isolates it from the guide, but it does not load a remote game website. Some games were created by credited open-source developers; their source and authorship links are informational and are not contacted merely because you press Play.

Cookies

Cookies, where used, relate to advertising or essential browser/site functions. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not require an analytics cookie. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; doing so does not stop the local games from loading, although it may affect ad personalization.

Children's privacy

SonoTap is a general-audience games site and not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to processing. Email us and we'll do our best to help.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the most recent version.

Advertising controls

Advertising is currently disabled while site review and privacy-message checks are pending. When enabled, only fixed units appear alongside editorial content: at most one on mobile and two on desktop. Games, privacy pages and error pages do not initialize ads. Where applicable, the consent message offers consent and refusal; use “Privacy and cookie settings” on an advertising page to change or withdraw your choice. Blocking or refusing ads does not prevent games from running.
