These terms govern your use of sonotap.online (the "site"), operated by SonoTap ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. Please read them; they're written in plain language.

Using the site

SonoTap is a free, curated directory of browser games. You may use it for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to misuse the site — for example, by attempting to disrupt it, overload it, scrape it at volume, or access systems you're not meant to.

Game authorship and local builds

Most active games are SonoTap originals. A smaller set is built from credited open-source projects and served as a local static copy. We do not claim ownership of third-party code, art, names, or other protected material; the applicable project license and creator credit continue to govern those works.

Games do not provide SonoTap accounts or server-side purchases. Local browser storage can still be cleared by you, your browser, or device settings, and SonoTap cannot recover it.

Game availability

We try to keep every local build working, but browser changes, old dependencies, licensing issues, or security concerns can still require repair or removal. We may add, remove, or replace games at any time. A game being listed today is no guarantee it will remain available forever.

Acceptable content

We aim to list games that are safe and broadly appropriate, but we can't pre-screen every moment of gameplay. If you find something on a game page that shouldn't be there — broken, offensive, or infringing — please contact us and we'll review it.

If you're a developer

If you created a game we list and would like the local copy removed, its credit changed, or its source link updated, email us and we will review the request promptly. New third-party candidates must have a verifiable license and a build that can run entirely from SonoTap hosting.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Ads are served by third parties (such as Google AdSense). We don't control which specific ads are shown to you, and we aren't responsible for the products or services advertised. Don't rely on the site for advice of any kind.

Disclaimer

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any game will remain available. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or the games on it.

Intellectual property

The SonoTap name, logo, written guides, site design, and SonoTap-original games are ours. Third-party open-source games and their protected materials remain subject to their respective licenses and owners. Credits and source links do not transfer ownership.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
